A Few of My Favorite Cleaners

I’m going to share with you a couple of my favorite “homemade” cleaners.  I’ve started my own cleaning business for some extra cash and I use these cleaners in my home and the homes of my clients.

Laminate Floor Cleaner

1 part water

1 part white vinegar

1 part rubbing alcohol

3-5 drops of liquid dish detergent

Mix all of the ingredients together and pour in a fine mist spray bottle.  I usually buy my spray bottles from Amazon and I think the commercial bottles last longer.

Wood Floor Cleaner

1/4 cup white vinegar

2 Tablespoons rubbing alcohol

Water

10 drops of favorite essential oil  (usually lemon)

Mix thoroughly.  Spray on the floor and mop with a barely wet mop.  I have a spin mop that I love (Mopnado) that my daughter bought for me and it spins most all of the water out and this is what you need to use on laminate and wood floors.

Countertop & Bathroom Cleaner

24 oz. spray bottle

2 oz. bleach

1 teaspoon of detergent

Fill remaining of bottle with water.  It’s just like using Clorox Cleanup but CHEAPER!!!

Window Cleaner

24 oz spray bottle

1/8 cup ammonia

1/4 cup alcohol

Water to fill the bottle.

These are a few of my favorite cleaners.  You may have favorites as well and I’d love to hear about them.  These really made a big dent in my cleaning expense.  I’ll share more in future posts.
