I remember my roses being beautiful last summer but they’ve outdone themselves again this year.
The roses are beautiful but when you add a little nature . . .
then you add a view like this . . .
beauty is everywhere!!!

Excerpts from a day in the life of Howling Duck Ranch.com weblog
This is the blog for our little farm in Skagit county. Here we have Shetland sheep and Nigerian Dwarf goats. In addition we have donkeys, cattle, pigs, chickens, geese, and peafowl. The blog describes the weekly activities here.
This site is about my life as a farmgirl, wife, mother and grandmother. We have a beautiful 22 year old granddaughter and and the cutest 3 year old grandson. We own two farms in Craig County Virginia, leasing one and raising beef cattle on the other.

I’m not sure if they are native to the US or not and never thought about it. We don’t have that many on the farm because the predators like coyotes, bobcat, hawks and fox keep the numbers down. I love watching them.

It’s a beautiful day in your neighborhood. 🙂 We have only one rabbit here, and he is a pet so we pick his lettuce from the garden. 🙂

We have 13 at the moment and ten are only seven weeks old. I really am enjoying raising them but they keep me busy pulling grass for them and keeping their feed and water bowls filled.

Rabbits are pests here in Australia.
They are not native to Australian fauna,
Imported by the damn Poms for shooting!!
Maybe way back in 1788 at the time of the settlement
of Australia, Englishmen forgot that rabbits breed – ha ha!
Are rabbits native to the USA??? Or were they imported when the
Americas were discovered and settled by various European
countries – Dutch, British, French and Spanish at various parts
of the USA land mass???
