Proof is in the pudding or is that putting!!  Anyway, UPS arrived at our house on Friday with a new book for me.  I remember entering the contest but had not received notice of who the winner was until Friday.  This letter was enclosed in the package from Penguin Publishing:

Reviews of the book.

I’ve never read a book like this before and it’s quite unusual.  From the cover is this quick synopsis of the book:

It is at heart a love story–of a long and sometimes difficult courtship and a passion that verges on obsession:  that of a writer for another language (Italian).

When I opened the book I found that on the left hand pages the story is in Italian and on the left in English.  This could be quite interesting and I’ll review on GoodReads once I’ve read it.
