Haven't seen them since Thanksgiving and now all of sudden everywhere I drive there's wild turkeys in the fields in large groups.

    • Not skinny by any means. I’ve been in a slump and eating to get myself out of it. I’ve gained back four of the pounds I lost but determined to get over myself and get it off with another five pounds in the next six weeks.

    Breeding season???

Good news here – has been raining now steadily for 24 hours.
The “outback” is also getting in many parts a good drenching also.
“Huey” has come to his senses!!! Plenty more is needed and the city folk are not complaining – the realisation may be dawning that food (meat, vegetables and fruit) does not miraculously grow on supermarket shelves – I suppose the increase in prices has brought that realisation to fruition????
Looks like the meteorologists ( the new TV word!!) have at last got the weather “forecasts” right.
